It's handcrafted with actual basketball leather, the exact stuff you see on the court at NBA arenas and during March Madness. It is sourced from the Chicago tannery that supplies the major sporting goods manufacturers. The seams feel like real basketball seams, done using a proprietary process using heat, pressure, and black dye. The edges are finished in black thread.
