Was there a more proficient passer in Dallas Cowboys history than the remarkable Roger Staubach? He sailed from the Naval Academy with a Heisman Trophy to the NFL in 1965, but served his country first and then joined the Cowboys in 1969. It would take two seasons for Captain America to take over as starting quarterback for the 'Boys, and he led them to Super Bowl appearances in 1971, 1975, 1977 and 1978, emerging victorious in '71 and '77. Despite being sidelined with injuries over his pro career, Roger retired in 1980 with the NFL's highest quarterback rating at the time (83.4), an induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1985 and a 2010 selection as Greatest Dallas Cowboy of All-Time. We are honored to feature Roger Staubach in our signature collection of pro football legends! Our tees are preshrunk 100% ringspun cotton in short and long sleeve styles with vintage style print.
